Well mate, I live on mutton, well almost. As far as I am concerned it is the best meat you can get.

Of course, that is as long as the animal is in reasonable condition. Ask why she is being culled, in case it has some nasty disease but other than that you are on a win.

Yep old Nev is right on it when he says, just keep on planting.

I like to plant a few things every couple of weeks. A packet of seed could last you a season if you plant a dozen seeds every couple of weeks.

Yeah but I don't think that Newton's theory would work the same when the water was perculating down through tons of soil.

Sorry mate but I reckon there will be no way you can run a generator from a well.

As for the pump, if you can't find a leather cut one outa an old boot. I have done that in my distant past with no real problems.

Re: A Right Royal Snub

Gidday Mirs Wild Flower, I think it's stretching thing a bit to claim that a large part of our population lives in London. but that's besides the point. This country and it's push for republicanism has snubbed the royals many times, the rudeness and arrogance of the PM at every royal occasion is a c...

A Right Royal Snub

Gidday, I am disgusted. Your Royal Family that is supposed to also be our Royal Family has given a Right Royal Snub to Kiwis. Sir Edmond Hillary, Knighted by old Liz Herself has died, and not even one member of the Roal Family has the decency to bother to turn up at his funeral. Poor old Sir Ed was ...

Gidday Good to see more quality on here. Too many Aussies here. Just joking though, they are all a good bunch here really. I'm in North Otago but am like you, a refugee from mud and mortgage in the North Island. I couldn't afford Nelson so came further south. You can learn a lot on here but must bea...
