Re: Stupid pets...

These stories are so funny and I'm tempted to tell you about our cat, but she is 16 and has alzheimers, so it would be cruel to humiliate her here with stories of losing me when I'm standing right infront of her. :? I'll tell you something she has done all her life though; which is of great help to ...

Re: I've lost my other half....

Ahhh, I see - that is excellent advice. I don't know whether she knew that and decided to be impatient or had never been told.
I will share that with her when I next see her.

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge here!

Re: Lunar planting

Thanks for that - it's really interesting. I knew more about the signs of the zodiac relating to root, flower, leaf etc.

I need to brush up and draw up a plan

Re: I've lost my other half....

You are absolutely amazing - really well done you. You LOOK great and I'm thrilled that you feel as good. I have a friend who is about 22 stone; she lost 5 stone through weight watchers but got so depressed because she said her skin had lost its elasticity; she reckoned she looked and felt worse abo...

Re: Lunar planting

I tried it a few years ago and didn't notice any difference, despite really wanting to! I wonder if I did something wrong.

Are there some very basic rules for beginners or do you need to really study it?

woad?

What about things like blackberry, grapes, beetroot or red cabbage; is there a way to fix these? I'm just trying to think of the things that dye my hands when I prepare them in the kitchen!

Re: shaving oil

Hi Nev,

It's the same bottle as I use as a base for massage oil all the time; so pretty unlikely as I've never had a problem before.

Re: women's health again; menstrual stuff...

my first couple of days are heavy, so I use hemp pads as it's 4 times more absorbent as cotton. but i'm at home, so if I need to i can change it every couple of hours or so.

i appreciate this wouldn't be any good if i was in an office / public environment, so I'l lucky really.

Re: women's health again; menstrual stuff...

I'm a washable pads girl myself, but these jam sponges got me thinking about something. it's a bit embarrassing, so bear with me - but are these animals or plants? I'm wondering what a stout vegan might think of using them? (assuming they are an animal) Personally I want to cross my legs when I thin...
