I used washable wipes and our bum cleanser was simply witch hazel and grapeseed oil mixed together. We used sesame oil before that on its own, but that is quite thick and oily.

You can add a drop of lavender or mandarin essential oil if you wish

It doesn't look like blight to me (we've had it twice), but I'd just keep an eye on it and take action if it spreads. Keep checking it every day, which I'm sure you are doing already. Fingers crossed it's not blight. Although we completely got rid of ours and saved the crop by using horsetail, so yo...

My belief is that you will find 'charlatans' in all walks of life, not just alternative medicine / energy work etc. You get cowboy double glazing fitters or car mechanics for example. I believe we are all born with a gift, be that the ability to stand up in front of 1000 people and inspire them, the...

that's fab! I found instructions for folding bags origami style, but I really wrestled with newspaper; it just kept springing out of shape like a wayward puppy.

Well done though; you're looks great :)

I've used quite a few platforms and find wordpress to be the best. But I would agree that for a complete novice Blogger is probably the easiest to manage. it's nice too because you tend to get a lot of people visiting your blog quite quickly with blogger. enjoy, but beware; it can be an obsessive ho...

yep, my friend has one and it's excellent. Now I'm saving up for one!

She cycles a LOT and loves this bike. It does indeed reach 15mph; and she charges it up every 5 days or so. She uses it to commute to work and has been all around North Wales on it too :)

Enjoy!

It's a challenging situation you talk of, but I'm glad that your niece and her partner are surrounded by people who have stepped forward to help out at this difficult time........

Can I ask something - sprinkling the bones around your garden, does that bring in rats? We have a lot of them around here and at the moment they're not to problematic, but I wouldn't like to entice them!

I don't have any experience of cherries, but how about drying them? I've made bottled apples with nothing in them at all except apples - their own sugar preserved them I suppose. I basically made apple sauce and they lasted over 2 years. in fact they were my daughter's weaning food, which felt great...

Ah, working from home - what a fab job you've landed. It's amazing to think how many people must be working from home now. It makes perfect 'eco' sense to me, but some of my friends have tried it and hated it - they just couldn't self motivate. I guess it suits some and not others...... Enjoy your n...
