Re: National Secular Society & Military Chaplins

the support from chaplains (all faiths not just CofE) is important to serving military

Like food, pay, equipment and accomodation, chaplains are a part of the crown's pact with those they send to war

Re: Celeriac problems,advice needed please!

have you tried pulling one and working round the holes? seems a shame to have them go to waste (really wish I'd planted some this year as it should have been perfect weather with all the rain)

Could it be vine/root weevil?

I must keep an eye out for some plants. Zoe Would you like some white Alpines Zoe? I have myriads of them w...

Re: What colour is your front door?

Sort of Teal shade I guess, bluey green , two wired glass bubbly panels above two wooden panels, and a clear skylight above. It's 100 years old and is original to the house. Brass 'furniture' -not original- as there were nasty white metal fittings when we moved in which we replaced, I think the orig...

Re: It's ... it's ...

With someone having a panic at being 30  I'm not certain that the ishers here are old enough to be able to answer t...

/-Yes, you can use circulars. ..-/-. or, there are even very, very tiny circular needles which you can use to knit socks with - I think there are some called Hiya Hiya (but they are very, very tiny so might be fiddly, also I'm not sure if you can get them in the UK). -/- Small Knitpro circulars ava...
