Re: One swallow doesn't make a summer
Not much sun at all MMM - just grey and cloudy. Today has been awful again with on/off drizzle.
Still, the new grass is growing well so there IS a silver lining to all this rain.

Re: One swallow doesn't make a summer
 They're back!! Looked at this thread yesterday and thought - blimey! they are late this year. Then driving back home through the deluge, I've just seen about 10 swallows swooping about and gathering mud (of which we have lots!) for their nests. Yours are probably on their way too MMM. :icon...

Re: Swiss Chard
I like chard - for its looks!
I've tried really hard to like it but it just tastes too earthy for me. Shame because it grows really well and comes back even after snow and ice.

Re: Do you miss vinyl records or are you happy with MP3s.
I'm married to a vinyl junkie. He's got about 40,000 records - all genres. We used to trawl vide greniers here for him to buy more but those days are long gone. Enough really is enough! He can recite track lists of obscure 60s prog LPs which is actually quite easy as there is usually only one or two...

Re: Caffeine withdrawal symptoms
I tried decaffeinated coffee when it became popular in the 80s and it triggered a god-awful migraine. I put it down to caffeine withdrawal but my GP said that certain decafs are made using solvents to remove the caffeine and I could be allergic to these chemicals rather than suffering from withdrawa...

It is a mindfield though Jon. As you mentioned above, how these Brit registered cars with green ins tickets get away with it, I'll never know!
