thanks Helsbells. . being a bit dozy. i think the thing you are talking about tests the life in the battery. now i am sure thats important, but how much life in a battery will be strong enough to blip the fence? :lol:

electric fencing

hi peps .my question is more electrical than computing. My livestock grazing is currently being "managed" by an electric fence. I have begged two old batteries that have a little life left in them ( not good enough to use on a car) and i am charging one for a day then changing the batterie...

ermm . just on different note. you might want to think about the animals needs too. the girls i work with (in care) are great but do have problems. One is that they hit out in temper. On the last funny occasion one decided that she no longer wanted the other one to sit next to her at dinner. hi peps, have lurked here for ages. but now needed to join just so i can tell you.. fame again.. you are mentioned on radio4 the programme is 9.45am just before womans hour and the book is called crap at the environment. Naturally it is a very positive ++ mention aof andy and dave :cheers:
