Re: Self sufficientish Toilet Paper
The Yellow pages! As students we used the yellow pages and we put it down the lav and it didn't block it up. Was quite interesting too as depending on how u were feeling depended on what pages u used for wiping!!

Re: Boosting immune system and antibiotics
The only thing I can think of would be salt baths? I know my girls aged 3 and 2 r both prone to urine infections and sore bums and a regular salt bath sorts them out. I hate antibiotics but sometimes they r a necessity. Sending you all hugs and hoping it evens itself out soon. Xxx

Re: Chubby Kitty vs Skinny Kitty
Skinny cat is maybe just meant to be skinny!! We have 6 cats, all related and half of them r skinny minnies. They all get fed together. We find that r chunkies slim down a bit over summer and then bulk up over winter. As for the intolerance, do you give them milk? Milk and tinned food gives r's chro...

Re: Broken Kitty!
Hope ur kitty is doing well. We're the same as oldfella, r puss cats fell when she was 2 and broke her hips and tail. We couldn't afford to operate and the vet was excellant, we had to box rest her for 6wks and then only let her out in a small area in the evenings. Gradually we built on this and she...

Re: Oh, we is having a baby!
Awww congrats! That's fab news. And as everyone has said all ur feelings r completely normal. I have 3 under 5 and still worry if I'm doing things right! My advice is follow ur feelings, the mothering instinct is very powerful and always right. Cloth nappies r a great investment, number 2 and 3 r st...

Re: Use the soil from the pond I dug ?
Put it on freecycle! We needed soil as the house we hav moved to had a stoned garden area so we needed soil to sow a real garden for the kids! We r getting some of freecycle, someone in the same position as urselves. We r bagging it for transport. Someone out there will be very grateful for it. Xx

Re: First not going to school day
Why tell them anything? If they are good friends they will respect your decision. A decision which you have made for your child not theirs. Our eldest is going into p2 in a rural school, there is only 4 others in his little class. I love it as he recieves very good care and as there is only 43 kids ...
