Legal requirement to display address for online selling?

Hi everyone, Wonder if you can help me. I have read a couple of times and someone is telling me on Etsy that as a UK seller I am required by law to display my address to sellers. I am extremely reluctant to do this because I am a teacher and would not want my pupils finding out where I live. Has any...

Re: ban on homeopathy for animals, but not humans!

I banged my forehead just above my eye brow on a door frame a few years ago, it reeeeeally hurt, I slapped some arnica cream on it and I didn't get a bruise or anything, I am sure I should have had a black eye.
Also, I take nettle tea for hayfever, it really helps.

Re: Breast feeding, socially unacceptable or not?

My husband is supportive of my breastfeeding, but I think you are right Juzamum, he is concerned about people staring, and this then upsetting me. I am surprised about my feelings about feeding in public actually, I thought I would be really confident and not care. i think it is because feeding my b...

Re: Breast feeding, socially unacceptable or not?

disappointed to say that I have not been able to openly breastfeed in public having been encouraged by my husband and friends to drape a blanket over my shoulder to hide myself. I didn't like it, I wanted to look at my baby's face. Breast fed in the back seat of the car and felt very self concious w...

Re: how long should/did you breastfeed for?

Breast feeding is currently going well, I hope it stays as good as it is because I don't have sore nipples or pain when feeding after the initial couple of sucks.

Re: New Baby!

Thanks all for your lovely comments. He is lovely! In selfsufficientish news, we are sticking to our guns with just using water and cotton wool, no baby wipes for us, but are using biodegradable disposable nappies at the moment because the washable ones are rubbing on his cord, once the cord is gone...

New Baby!

He has finally arrived! Orren was born on Saturday 18th at 11.39 am after just 4 and 1/2 hours. Used gas and air but had to have an episiotomy. Settling in at home now.

Re: how long should/did you breastfeed for?

Thanks for the advice Demi, I have been to two NCT training sessions on breastfeeding and I know that my hospital has a drop in for breastfeeding advice that runs every day so if I have any problems I will go there.

Re: how long should/did you breastfeed for?

I would breast feed exclusively for first 6 months then start weaning, so would still be breast feeding for some time after that. I have to admit I am not very knowledgeable about weaning and when to feed babies what etc, I have basically read up to how to give birth in the books and can't read past...

Re: how long should/did you breastfeed for?

I am pregnant and hope to breast feed, my plan is to breast feel exclusively for 6 months then start weaning. For me if the child has teeth I feel that it is time to stop breastfeeding because they are able to have solid food. Also I am not sure I want my children to be able to remember being breast...

its simply a case of the righ time, in the right place in the right manner
Unfortunately babies don't know whether it is an appropriate time or place.
