Re: Too early for plum moth trap?

I don't know how long it was on the ground but it blew off and I couldn't find the pheromone capsule, I put the triangle back on since something could get stuck on the stickiness, but I found it on the ground again. Is it too late to do something for the plums that are forming already?

Re: Crafty Storage for DMC flosses etc

Laundry pods come in closeable boxes, so if you know people who use them, ask them for one.

Re: is there hope for this rose

It's not a sucker, they were both part of the plant when I got it. What do you think would happen if I cut the green stem down to a shorter length if there aren'y any obvious buds down it. Would it sprout some? Other roses have flowered already but this one doesn't have any sign of a flower bud arou...

is there hope for this rose

Is there anything I can do to sort this rose out? There's a leaf growing low on the dead stem that I snapped near the top and it is dry inside, the left is as you can see and there are no flower buds. The picture didn't work, but the rose has two stems, sort of V formation, one is dead except for th...

Lemon as rust remover

I've mixed some lemon juice and salt as a rust remover on an old hankie - how long does it take for the rust to come out? There's lots of advice on using lemon juice or vinegar, but none say how long to leave the acid on.

Re: Laundry detergents

Nope. I use own brand non-biological powder to wash and a bottle of white vinegar as fabric conditioner (to help make sure all the soap residue's out rather than make fluffy). I occasionally use an oxy bleach product if something is badly stained or the cats have peed where they didn't oughta. Do y...

Repeats that would be useful

Why did they stop showing Programmes for Schools and Colleges? Instead of the usual dross they keep repeating, it would be really useful to show them again now that children are at home more.

Angle grinder

I need to get one to cut through a Kryptonite ulock on the bike. Which is the cheapest grinder or disc that will do the particular job (I'm sure I'll never need to use it for anything else)?

Potted white currant

I bought a reduced price white currant from HBase the year before last and put it in a large pot about a year later. It still hasn't flowered! I've got black currant and red currant, so any suggestions or advice would be welcome to make up my set :)

Re: Stromanthe Magic Star

I didn't realise that was only to do with fruiting. It has now been repotted into a larger pot - it should keep it comfy for a while.
