Hey Berti, Its very hard when you first start and doubts do set in, but start small, come back here for advice and reassurance and you will be amazed how many friends you make down there on the plots next to yours who are happy to offer advice, seedlings, words of wisdom and even the odd cuppa tea. ...

I work as a part time chemistry technician in a 6th form college. The hours are great and I get the hols but all those chemicals.... The college does recycle a lot of stuff. Ecover products are good at what they do but some still contain sodium laurel sulphate I noticed. There's that new stuff called Haymax out this year, made for humans but its all good healthy stuff and you put it on the nose perhaps that type of product could be of help

Hi There, The green cone is great, I'm not entirely sure how it works, however in our garden we sank it into the worst bit of ground we had and filled it with allsorts including the dog waste, and low and behold it all has disappeared, and the newly planted shrubs are thriving, in the 6 years it has...
