Exactly that , no matter what I do I never have success with lettuce what do you all do to ensure success I eat a lot of lettuce and want to do my own. Have tried in the greenhouse , out the greenhouse, in raised beds out of raised beds in containers in hanging baskets either loads that bolt overnig...

I have tomatoe seedlings on the windowsill but my greenhouse is more like a huge cold frame due to my neighbour put their *ahem* through the glass whilst doing the fence

Thanks for your thoughts, it would be fabulous to have room to put in a shed, alas. Yes there are perches but I intend to higher them as these are not adequate height. TBH it looks sturdy and well made as opposed to some of the carp out there, so we shall see

My compost bins,(read wormeries) take ages as you say they dont get hot enough will dig it in though once a year maybe. The chicken poop I add to the compost bin someone once told me it acts as an accelerator, clearly that was a fib!! ;)

yes I dried herbs for the first time ever an used the micoblaster. Sandwhich herbs between 2 layers of kitchen roll and blast for a couple of minutes until done. Kitchen smells good too ;)
