when i first came here, (10 yrs or so) I couldn´t get clothes to fit. ( 5´8ish) -trousers half mast, shirts not long enough to cover the navel...... now, trousers are 2 inches too long ( at least) and shirs/tops,- which i prefer long_ are ok sizes---- well thats another thing entirely----------- any...

mainly, for the long term future, instill in them the self -sufficientish ethos. which I´m sure you are already doing!the pressures from contemporaries will make them- most likely- want them to be consumerists, but whatever you can teach them now will be b the best you can for their future

internally taken is supposed to help with inflammation, arthritis , constipation ( as mentioned above), boost immune system etc etc...... there´s no concrete proof to these reported benefits, but I did take it regularly 2 or 3 years ago, and it was great, but it´s just too expensive to keep buying o...

process aloe vera..

anyone made their own products direct from the live plants? any tips, especially as to what NOT to do. There is loads info out there on the web, but always nicer to get advice from "friends & neighbours" rather than strangers, especially as many of the sites , are really commercial one...

saw something similar years ago in North america..........., they´d held out for more money..... and the farmhouse, ended up int the middle of a spaghetti junction type complex of roads........

watching victorian farm, edwardian farm, wartime farm, and its not easy being green, could be good
not only are they good viewing, but you can pick up a lot of tips from olden times too

Not having much trouble with mice so far this fall---the drought must've inhibited (re)production this year. Plus we currently have three cats. When we do have one in the house I usually set up a bucket trap and "relocate" them within a couple of days. I keep Victor "clothespin"...

I had aplague of them earlier in year, so prob get loads again very soon. the cats dont deter them , or cathch them, so traps, glue poison etc!
Mint is supposed to be a detterrent , so I put some of that in strategic places as well

as above, practical skills, diy, cookery etc.and get them to learn to live WITHOUT internet, TV , radio, for a while, and read books etc............. help them to understand the world will NOT stop if they cant access facebook, tuenti, etc etc, for a little while!
