The state pension is inflation proofed if you live in most EU countries but not for Australia, NZ, South Africa, Canada and about another 170 countries. It's probably best to check with the Overseas Pension Department.

Apparently the harvest across NW Europe is 15% lower this year and potato demand is rising as a result of more people cooking at home due to budgetary problems.

The problem is that 72%* of the European population and 82%* of the USA are urban dwellers who probably don't even have a window box.
