Re: Quickest way to report spam

I guess you can always type that in the comment box. What happens though if it has already been flagged? I tend to see as I still have mod controls in most of the areas here so I know when not to bother, but if you can't see it then I imagine lots of people will go to the trouble of flagging it up ...

Re: Human rights

No-one suggested not going to court to condemn those who need to be condemned until you did. Riff Raff was saying it is inexcusable that so much money is being spent determining whether satellite TV deprivation is against the human rights of people who are already incarcerated. If people are going t...

Re: Human rights

We are already on the road to making our culture one where disagreeable experiences are disallowed. The whole education system is based these days on 'you cant fail' and 'you can be whatever you want to be (regardless of whether or not you work for it/deserve it)'. We have countless children leaving...

Re: Human rights

Having had my village overrun with 'travellers', I know what it is like to be surrounded by people you cant trust (and you cant - they steal everything that isnt locked down), I have no sympathy whatsoever with the Dale Farm lot. They should do things the right way round. They applied for retrospect...

Re: Human rights

You might be right actually and it's my misunderstanding. Whatever the circs though, there are far more people there than ought to be (H&S rules on overcrowding etc). There are over 1000 people on it! Permission was originally given to only 40 families and now there are over 100 families. 1000 ...

Change the switch - not the cord, but the actual switch. That at least will check whether there is a problem that is past DIY.

That's the problem - they only own half the site and there are too many of them to put them all on the one half.

Re: Human rights

Rehabilitation? Oh dear - I think you must be seeing the world through rose coloured spectacles! The lad who shot holes in all my windows one fine day because he had nothing better to do would find rehab a doddle - and he wouldnt have learned anything by the end of it either! It's too late to teach ...

Re: Human rights

Common sense? That's an outdated concept Im afraid! It is a specific requirement NOT to have any before embarking on certain lines of employment, particularly if you want to be employed running the country.
