how high a fence should i build to stop the chickens getting out? i know their wings will be cut so they cant fly, but how high can they flutter? we have a 10 foot wall round the garden which i dont suppose they can get over but we need to fence off the back of the garden for them or the dog will ch...

you can also try putting a ring of salt round the seedlings. if the slugs/snails cross it they explode.
