how high a fence should i build to stop the chickens getting out? i know their wings will be cut so they cant fly, but how high can they flutter? we have a 10 foot wall round the garden which i dont suppose they can get over but we need to fence off the back of the garden for them or the dog will ch...

i love the windmills! i think they look grate, much better than the electricity pilons. i feel prowed when i see them because i know they are doing good. we have some a few miles from our house, in all directions, 10 here, 10 there and theres is loads of them off the coast in the sea thats about 6 m...

It might be cheaper and lower maintenance, depending on the scale of setup you need. i concidered this but we live in macedonia in a mountain vally, it is nearly allways sunny and hardly ever windy. plus the well is surroun...

thanks for your advice. i was worried 500m2 was not big enough for 2 goats plus the hens. what kind of high protien food you do feed them? along with hay and fruit&veg.
