Re: Over use of Anti depressants?

A friend of mine must take about 6 months off every year due to depression. He has a very understanding employer who send him off to various retreats for treatment. Re: zero sun hours today

We are seriously thinking about trying a water turbine in the small stream in our land. Have to be fre...

Re: I knew I was no longer a bright young thing when...

I felt quite old last night when I walked past a nightclub at about 7pm and it had a sign saying 'open from 11pm til 3am' I thought, 'what on a Sunday' then remembered that 20 years ago I would have probably arrived just after kicking out time from the pubs - about midnight.

Estate Agents speak. 'Viewing Essential' You don't say! And here I was going to buy it without viewing it

Also, competitions on chocolate wrappers. 'No purchase necessary - see inside for details'

I think if you had emailed them to complain then they probably would have sent you a £20 voucher and apologised profusely. I understand why they wouldn't want to publish your comments for all to see. It is their website after all. Posted on an independent website would have been fine - like this one...

Re: Australian Floods

OMG she really is so insular. Reminds me of when we were in Quebec, Canada and I got chatting to a Canadian guy on a campsite and he asked me where I lived. Thinking he wouldn't have any idea where Perth was I said I lived about 40 miles from Edinburgh, his blank look prompted me to say about 60 mil...
