I have done the same thing and I used it as felt. I made a handbag, which was a bit peculiar but I liked it! Also my grandaughter made some lovely flowers from it with buttons in the centre, so all is not lost! pbf.

I have just been given 11balls of undyed Alpacca wool, and would welcome any advice as to what to use it for. It has been homespun and plyed into a quite chunky yarn. They weigh about 50g each.
