Re: New Goat Forum
Am about to join just one comment initially - can we have 'Goats for sale or wanted - UK' rather than England? I'm sure I won't be the only one who doesn't live in England or France

You may have a bit longer to go yet MrsD.....Lucy is 2wks old and I am still doing daft things. This morning I couldn't remember my bank account no, yet I write that regularly and have never had a problem with it, when it came back to me I transposed the first two numbers  so the bank only let...

Re: Toilet Training
If it is any consolation to those whose little ones are not potty trained yet, Beth is 3 in December, was not having any real success with potty training at all, then when we were away having Lucy she suddenly decided to potty train herself and has gone from strength to strength since we came back d...

Re: Is this normal?
Beth eats like a horse, especially when she is having growth spurts. breakfast - bowl of cereal snack - two slices of toast (no crusts) lunch - pasta/sandwiches/omlette, whatever I am having really. snack - whole apple and cheese dinner - whatever we are having supper - often will have another piece...

Finally we are home!
All is well here, thought we wouldn't get away from Aberdeen but we did in the end, we were expected to be in 3 days or so and ended up in for 10. She spent 2 days in special care in an incubator with pneumonia, so then had to stay in Aberdeen for the full course of antibiotics, then her jaundice go...

Re: anti tangle spray
Have the same problem with myself and my daughter! We both have loads of curls, my hair is shoulder length, hers is nearly waist length (when wet and straight). To be honest I virtually never brush my hair or hers, I use fingers to detangle it if needed. I also use plenty of conditioner and only was...

Thanks. Beth adores dolls so we have two new dolls for her - one boy and one girl - and she will get whatever gender this baby is and then the other one can be her birthday present in December. Have bought/acquired/made the basics for it (and both dollies despite being immaculate were second-hand, g...

Ask your doctor for a thyroid function test. An under-active thyroid can cause lethargy and tiredness. Dry skin, dry hair and weight gain are also symptoms. No amount of "life style changes" can compensate if your body ain't working right! Been there, done that - they tested just about ev...

I wonder if they have to base the tests on consumption of a certain amount of liquid or something...and you only have the colostrum for a few days, don't you? Maybe they are so in need of beds they can't have you waiting for 'proper' milk to come through, so give formula instead so they can run the...
