Agar fruit jellies

I'd like to make some fruit jellies, like cubes of sweets rather than pudding jelly, using apple juice and agaragar. What would the ratio of juice to setting agent be, and would it differ if I used other fruit juices?

Spraying cat

For no apparent reason, my adult male neutered cat has started spraying indoors. What are the possible causes?

Stardrops

I'm sure you'll all remember Stardrops... Poundworld had a range of Stardrops - are they the real thing or some sort of lesser products?

Re: 33p-50p per person Meals

Why those costings in particular - are you economising or catering for something? It could make a difference.

Opening tins

It might be just me, so, does anyone else seem to have more trouble using a tin opener on basics/economy brands of tinned food that others?

Sandwich toasters

Are there any sandwich toasters, the ones that divide and seal, that can be used with normal slices of bread without having to trim them first?

Re: Pear tree

As I bought it at a reduced price, I suspect it's been in the pot for quite some time! I plan to put it in the ground this week-end but I did want some idea of what might be wrong in case the disturbance might have had an adverse effect.

Old documentary

Years ago, there was a documentary (Panorama or somesuch) about a man who couldn't remember anything from a few minutes previously and had to keep writing things down, taking photos etc. But, somehow, he never forgot how to play music, and the pieces. Does anyone know which programme this was on?

Pear tree

I have bought a pear tree recently. It is potted (still) and has several branches and is about five feet high, and all the leaves have dropped.
I have noticed that a couple of the thinner branches have lenghts of darkened wood alternating with the normal colour - what could that mean?

Re: ...make a barbecue into an oven?

It seemed like a good idea, but doesn't seem all that practical now!
