I think that what I'm going to do Becks... and save a jars worth at the end and add a teaspoon for a trial. That way the whole batch isn't ruined. Who knows, it might turn out lovely!

Plum jam question.

I'm curious, many recipes say add root/crystalised ginger for exra body- but i'm cheap and refuse to buy ...

Easier said then done, also still have a freezer full of pies so havn't really been out since, I wouldn't feel right taking one just for the sake of it. Although, if this winter is anything like last, we'll need to stock up, we couldn't get to the nearest town for a fourtnight :( Theres the squirrel...

Mushroom Foraging report

Thought that we'd pop out this morning for a look-see. Couldn't find anything other then bemused cows  Mind you, it's probably still too early up here, and I'm not 100% sure where to look anymore... all the places OH used to go as a kiddie-winkle have all changed. All is not lost though! Hams...

Re: Rogue's Gallery

Teehee- thanks! It's also the biggest fish i've ever caught, 4.5lbs! The pup in the photo (Rogue) was in her element, she thought it was for her, bless. They got some stock in their dinners as it made pints! And as you can tell- i don't do 'dolled up'.. that costs money :P
