Re: safe alternitives to harmful beautie products

Olive oil soap is good and can be used on the hair aswell. It's much produced and used in Middle Eastern countries and Turkey but those health food shops might well sell it in a more "sophisticated" form.

Re: Am I deficient in something?

It IS possible that now your diet has changed, there might be an excess of something that is causing the problem. Re: Whether to keep Quails

I have a 28 litre plastic storage box with lid, with a flap created and air holes drilled. Will it be warm enough overnight for them with straw? The box is in a contained run.

Flypapers

Where can the old style black, square flypapers be bought? I've got the strips but they are more noticeable, hang lower and allow the stuck flies to be seen very clearly!

How should I put a potted honeysuckly into the ground. As it was in the pot, deeper or higher?

Re: Purslane

Yes. It's quite odd how much money, time and effort some people put into getting rid of some plants only to spend so much money, time and effort replacing them with other plants that often look quite similar to or don't match up to the unwanted flower in prettiness [or usefulness]!
