I am so chuffed with myself, I had to share these photos...

18 months ago, when we decided to start growing our own, we started with basically the field at the bottom of our garden.

We worked very hard to turn it into an allotment

And 18 months later - here it is!! It's by no means finished, and will probably be a work in progress for ever! :flower:

It all looks brilliant. Even more so because your BEFORE photo (although there's not really enough detail to be sure) might show distinct signs of medieval ridge and furrow ploughing. If so, you're continuing a centuries-old process right where you are - congratulations.
