Attaching documents - Heeeelp please

Does anyone know which kind of attachments can be added to a post.

Have tried a word doc and an excel spreadsheet - doesn't allow either!

Correct me someone if I am wrong but the only way to make files other than images available is to have them on the net and put a link to them, Have a look at thing like face book, My space etc where they are more open to adding files

I've no idea - it wouldn't occur to me to attach anything other than a photo so I don't know the answer (other than what bodrighy says). If you don't get an answer from the clever members of this forum I will bring this to John's attention.
