Got my allotment yesterday!!!
Got my allotment yesterday!!!
Got my allotment yesterday and I am very pleased with it ....was lead to believe it was a really bad plot....it does have partial shade but its not too bad......has a tool storage hut in situ ...four raised beds....red and black currant bushes, gooseberries, raspberries and rhubarb...its a bit weedy but just needs a good dig over......couldn't be happier

As a matter of interest, how long have you been waiting, since you applied for it ?
I put my name down a few years ago and never heard anything .. suppose by the time i get one, I'll be passed it
All the best and happy growing !!

Think my name was down for about 6 years in total ...looked after a friends plot on the same site for a year a couple of years ago though...so I know most people on there....however this plot is in a much better state (couldn't really get totally on top of the other one it hadn't been totally taken in hand and I couldn't give enough time to it to get in under control.)...
