What are you harvesting now?

Just loosened the soil from my shallots a day late (plant on the shortest day, harvest on the longest), plus I also loosened the garlic as well. On another thread I mentioned that I had harvested my autumn onions and I have been digging new potatoes for a few months.
Other than that, courgettes, cauliflowers, broccoli and a few French beans.
I picked all the gooseberries last week and Mrs Odsox bottled 7 x 500 ml jars, sweetened with our own grape syrup, plus the strawberries are in full swing, I'm picking several pounds every other day.
I've also been picking new season tomatoes from the greenhouse, along with lettuce and new carrots.
So it's all starting to happen.

Hmm - first of the onions, new potatoes, first of the shallots, some carrots, lettuce, spring onions, radish, raspberries.

Tomatoes and chillies.

I have, however, made several pots of low carb jam from cheap seasonal fruit.

There are probably some broad beans in the garden. I've not been feeling well enough to do anything out there - it looks bloody awful. All my energy goes into work. :(

Early winter? Surely you are well past mid-winter now.

Yesterday was the first pick of maincrop peas, 2 x 20' rows to supply enough peas to freeze for the winter. I picked a kilo (shelled weight) and froze 4 packs. The rows are looking particularly good this year and by past experience I should get somewhere in the region of 10 Kilos or 40 packs.
Other than that, first small pick of runner beans yesterday, lots of French beans, mangetout peas, courgettes, carrots, tomatoes, strawberries, potatoes, broccoli, lettuce and spring onions.
Next week I will start picking the apricots.

Black currants. I have been harvesting them for a week or two now, and it looks like they will go on for at least another week. I am looking forward to some home-made black currant jam. Mmmmm!

Yep - black currants here, too. And red currants. And gooseberries, and a few raspberries, and some rhubarb...

All the above, although not very many, plus an even smaller, but delicious, crop of jostaberries. It doesn't look like my blueberries will do much - maybe a handful.

Just one rose, so far, this year. I have a lovely old fragrant rose. Every year I pick a few heads when they're at their brightest and put them in a jar or so of raw honey - I'm thinking this year it will be one very small jar!

Apricots at the moment, all being dehydrated.
Next week the same will be happening to the black grapes.
Plus slowly picking the dry pods of various beans for shelling and storing. 4 varieties this year, the "multicoloured" ones, Blue Lake haricot, Orca (Yin-Yang) and butter bean substitute.

Broad beans, peas and carrots. Just a few of each but I'm chuffed to bits.

Trees. :( Hurricane Dorian started the harvest for us. Now I have to cut them up and split them for firewood.

Prior to the hurricane, we picked all the peaches that looked edible. We still have a few strawberries from some late-bearing plants. Enough for a berry or two on our morning porridge.
