Broad Beans - Black Leaf Tips

Post: # 18427Post Peatie »

Hi
Was feeling really proud when my first sowing of seeds (Broad Beans) started to sprout in my unheated greenhouse. Planning to plant out in next day or two in prepared bed.
But, the past couple of days the emerging leaves have dry, black (burnt like) tips.
HELP! :pale:
Any ideas

Could be exactly that , a case of the burnt leaf.

Hard to say, but if the leaves where damp and the sun caught them while in the greenhouse, maybe they could be burnt, if so no problem. BBean's are not really a green house veg, (just a good place to force them on)

Anyone else got an idea?
It's not easy being Cheezy
So you know how great Salsify is as a veg, what about Cavero Nero, great leaves all through the winter , then in Spring sprouting broccolli like flowers! Takes up half as much room as broccolli
