I love leeks, especially casseroled in balsamic vinegar.
Well done you, I grow them every year but mine are a bit pathetic this year for some reason. :(

Quite right - leek and potato soup it is - but will try the balsamic idea as well. Can't say the leeks are all that big, but they taste good.
As far as burst pipes are concerned - well, its only January, pleanty of time for more freezing yet....
