Inland Almeria.. 800m up a mountain.
Wedont get a lot of snow here, and usually overby now, but not had any yet this winter. Well early december did see some flakes fall, but nothing settled.

Itstopped quite soon this morning, but has started again. I didnt notice, until the dog demanded to go out. starting to set. not much, but it´s getting heaver, biggerflakes, loaded skies, and no wind to blow it to somewhere else!

Oh you have yerba mate! That is my favourite in terms of effects and taste. It's wonderful stuff.

sounds like a plan  my Rosemary is large, mostly full of sparrows (and bees when the flowers are out) and has to be cut back to stop it grabbing the postman. Have used it to store with wool to repel moth, but will also make tea with it now . thank you :hugish:

now off to search for 'yerba mate' :dontknow:

This link got me curious,so tonigt I brewed up a cuppa.

As I'm a firm believer in strong tea I chopped up two fresh sprigs.
...Not the brightest of idea's,on hindsight the amount would probably equal a heaped tablespoon.
Not bad, but probably more usefull as a mouthwash for gum infections.

A more thinned down version would probably make an interesting ice tea though,
perhaps with some lime or mint.
