Hi can anyone tell me why my broccoli has started to flower before the heads have formed is there anything I can do or it is a matter of starting again

When things start flowering and going to seed it is the plants response to stress i.e. too wet, too cold, too dry, pot bound, what sort of broccoli is it and where were you growing it and where abouts do you live.

Oh mine did the same during the really hot weather.I was watering twice a day but maybe not enough as we are so free draing here,it all flowered and I got no heads at all,really miffed as I have always done well with broccoli and my cauliflowers have no heads either just leaves I am hoping they will come as we wre a bit behind due to the bad start.I have been feeding them the last two weeks so we'll see.
Grow it,make it ,eat it, drink it and sleep well!
