Midsomer Murders

Do you think The Good Life could be remade, with me or Dave playing Tom Good (maybe not!)? If you have seen something on TV or heard something on the radio recently that you want to talk about, tell us here.

I've just read the following comment about the programme - can anyone explain it? Perhaps I didn't watch during that period. "Midsomer Murders was Britain's best for years, until they strangled it to death with political correctness".

The programmes director Brian True May said that Midsomer was the last bastion of Englishness because there were no black or Asian faces, I have to be honest, I watched it for years and it never really occurred to me, but perhaps because I lived in a town where there were not many ethnic groups, apart from the people who ran the Chinese or Indian takeaways so it looked pretty normal to me. He got suspended and now they have included more people from different ethnic groups.
