Do you think The Good Life could be remade, with me or Dave playing Tom Good (maybe not!)? If you have seen something on TV or heard something on the radio recently that you want to talk about, tell us here.

SO GLAD!!! I was an avid fan of GW from the early 80's but gave up after Toby took over.
In Rachel De Tame's defence, I understood that she, like me, had to wear gardening gloves due to an allergy, (in her case it caused a miscarrage
Friday nights will be heaven again: warm bath, followed by a snuggle on the settee with Monty!
In Rachel's defence, I couldn't give two hoots about her allergies. I couldn't give two hoots about her gardening knowledge either. It's like gardening a la Nigella. She can tell me anything she likes - I don't have to take any notice, but it's pleasurable listening
EDIT: Oh dear!!! Reading back, I'm coming over as a complete dirty old man. Sorry ladies. I still fancy Rachel, though (perv, perv, perv).
The secret of life is to aim below the head (With thanks to MMM)

Rachel said it was because she was protecting herself against that 'toxi wotsit' that is in the soil that you mustn't touch (rather like cats) if you ever want to become pregnant or are pregnant - I wonder how many women in the world have been pregnant and touched soil in their lives?
Whatever. I just don't like her as she seems rather wooden and stilted, but anyone is better than Sarah Raven, so I don't mind a bit of Rachel occasionally if the alternative is her! At least Rachel wears TROUSERS to garden in!!
