Outragous wasters!

Do you think The Good Life could be remade, with me or Dave playing Tom Good (maybe not!)? If you have seen something on TV or heard something on the radio recently that you want to talk about, tell us here.

Great - I care about the environment and try to do what I can. I would love solar panels etc. but can't really afford to have them. If I didn't care and spent all my money on trash that I threw away, the BBC would come along and give me all this stuff for free! Where's the justice in that?

Tell me about it. All 4 episodes are in rich households. They could probably afford to buy that stuff themselves if they actually gave a toss. Whereas we who would like to do this off our own back but can't afford it are left to struggle.

(Hmm, i really should sign up for the next "Grumpy Old Men" programme.)

right...i've been watching this for all of 10 minutes...and i'm annoyed already!!

Why do they have to choose people who are as thick as shit and so ignorant its ridiculous?
I would have loved to spend a week in a yurt looking after the animals, and doing the workshops!!

Nik and i are thinking of applying to the BBC for next time...we can pretend we are 'outrageous wasters'!!

I watched one on virgin catch up, it was a family of 2 adults and 3 teenage girls who between them had 27 baths a week! They did the show because they wanted to make changes and fair play to them, they ended up taking the bath out and just having a shower. One of the girls was a friend living with them, she hadnt ever eaten fruit or veg (so we were told).
