Web tv

Do you think The Good Life could be remade, with me or Dave playing Tom Good (maybe not!)? If you have seen something on TV or heard something on the radio recently that you want to talk about, tell us here.

I think ITV is soon to be archiving some of its stuff on the web, too.

A few weeks ago I discovered that if you open WinAmp (is it available for Macs?), then open its Media Library, and then select 'Internet TV' it will bring up a long list of available stuff from the Shoutcast server (Shoutcast is part of the WinAmp organisation). The range seemed to be from Star Treck through to David Icke. But in the main, it seemed to confirm that the more channels we have, the less there is to watch, and I haven't been tempted to look at it again.

good point actually, will get channel 5 when I move to Bristol next week and I can't say that its something to get excited about.

Will check out the winamp thing, not sure if it is available on mac but you never know. I quite like star trek, I guess you can't run a website with out having at least an inner geek

After 11 months of having a digi box that we thought was defunct, through lack of signal, the OM or should I say finance has sussed out that we needed a digital ariel cable and an updated arial to get freeview! Just 17 quid and a day scrabbling around in the loft got us some more channels!

Must say that most of the extra stuff is duff, but the kids love Cbeebies etc, we like BBC3 and some of the extra C4 bits.
If in doubt ~ use a hammer!

Oh, Shiney! Is that a Freudian slip, or are you really only marrying him for the money?
