Sick Chicken...help

Post: # 264473Post jungle_jim01 »

Hi, i have 3 Bantam hens, one of them has been in the coop for a few days. I thought she was just broody but i put her outside last night and noticed that she was struggling to walk. Her legs splay outwards a bit and she struggles to hold her weight. This morning it looks as though when she tries to walk its on the knuckles of her feet, but she really has no interest in doing anything. I managed to hand feed her but i don't think she's drinking. I also noticed that her poop was white and runny and her feathers were a bit crusty around her rear.

I'm heading to the vet later but thought i'd put this on here to see if anyone can offer advice.
Thankyou for any help.

Sorry no suggestions :( but I hope that the vet can sort her out for you. Good luck :flower:

But damn it how happy we'll be!
