herbs are a great place to start with pots... many prefer to be a bit drier anyway so ideal...

Re: Hello from chezwilli
Hi and welcome to the ishers.
ALL my veggies are grown in pots. So far this year I have had:
Cucumbers
Tomatoes
Peppers
Lettuce (2 kinds - I forget what they're called)
Radishes
Rocket
Still harvesting all of them, except the radishes - I must remember consecutive sowing for these next time.
And I'm waiting on Courgettes (finally got one plant that wasn't destroyed by woodlice) and pumpkin.
I've never grown pumpkin in pots before so it will be interesting to see how it does.
