As the title says - hello from Derbyshire... and a Happy New Year to all.

Thought I'd better start posting - Instead of just lurking!

anyway, what to tell you?
We have a very small-holding, in a suburban back garden in true Good Life style.... with chickens, quail, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, 3 goats (one milker, one billy and their castrated son) 3 kune kune pigs plus 5 piglets - heading for rehoming (some in the freezer) 4 cats and an enormous dog.
oh yes, and a beehive.

I work full time to pay for their upkeep - winter is not a very self sufficient time for us, & we try to grow enough veg to keep us & them, and am slowly building up the fruit trees.

Hello Little Blue Duck

Do you have a Margo-type person living next door to peer over the fence at all your animals?

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
