Hi from Brussels!
Hi, I'm Nickie, I'm British but currently live and work in Belgium. As you can imagine, this can make steps towards self-sufficiency daunting if it involves using languages I don't speak desperately well, but I've managed to take a few small steps so far. I'm experimenting with homemade cleaners, I'm learning how to bake bread, and I am slightly addicted to knitting and crochet, so I try to make things I need around the house like oven mitts and facecloths.

Hello! I'm another Brit in Belgium who makes home cleaning products. I wonder if you've found a place to get quantities of bicarbonate of soda here? I have only found smallish packs in Delhaize...
