Hello from New Zealand

Post: # 222867Post Teeli »

Hi there...I have just found your forum and I am enjoying reading everything on site. So please excuse me if I don't post anything just yet! :)

I live in a small village (predominantly Maori) in the Bay of Plenty on the North Island. It is summer here and we are sweltering under 30*cel temps.
I am a widow with 4 adult children and 10 grandchildren( at last count) who all live more than 300 miles from me.
I have a cat called Maggie Thatcher and I love the computer, reading, gardens, herbs and nature.

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Salutations Teeli from another Kiwi-ish.
Our remote ancestors said to their mother Earth, "We are yours."
Modern humanity has said to Nature, "You are mine."
The Green Man has returned as the living face of the whole earth so that through his mouth we may say to the universe, "We are one."
