Hello

Post: # 248539Post Liz52 »

Hi my name is Liz and I have just discovered this wanderful site, I have wanted to be semi self-sufficient for a very long time.
I now find myself on my own after a lot of years married, wanted to have an allotment with no chance due to demand. Now I shall
have a garden of my own. I see fungi in the forest and have often thought it would be good to forage for food for free. Now is
my chance, any help and ideas would be useful, I am a numpty as far as things to eat from the hedgerows etc.
I look forward to a long life with you all.

Liz52.

Hello from a similar thinking numpty - I keep seeing interesting mushrooms at the moment. Are the red and white spotty ones edible ;)?

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
