Greetings Earthlings!!!

Post: # 274235Post SPRAY »

Hello everyone,
I'm Danny (27) From Denmark. I have joined here today so that, hopefully, I can get some inside knowledge so to help me build up my own (Future) self-sufficient collective.

I have been dreaming about this for some time, and just recently i made the choice to do something about it, so I contacted a self-suffecient collective farm in Norway where work is exchanged for food and board. I hope to find two or three more places like it around the world so that I can learn it by doing it. Finally I will deside whether I want to build up a new collective or simply join one that already exists.

My own experiences up until now have had very little to do with this venture. I have gone to Circus school and film making school, where after I co-founded a stop-motion animation company. After three years of film making I went and volunteered in a Monastery in France for one year, followed by living and volunteering in a Collective institution for People with Downs syndrome, for one and a half years.

I hope to meet some great people here and have some nice chats and discussions. But mostly I hope to find other dreamers who have simuler dreams as me and who would be interrested in sharing a vision and building it.

well, that was a little about me

Have a nice day

Hi Danny and welcome to this forum
I don't know of any collective farms, but I wish you good luck for finding some and creating your own.

Welcome to the forum, love the sound of the circus school. I think the Findhorne Foundation is quite an interesting place and idea, saw a good programme about them.

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
