Hello from Kent

Post: # 288916Post yellowhammer »

Hi there, thought I'd better introduce myself. I'm Ian and I live in Gravesend in Kent. I've been an isher for a while now, I just didn't know there was a name for it! My partner and I grow a little bit of veg in our (tiny, concrete) garden and I do lots of preserving, make all our sourdough, butter and yoghurt and so on. I cycle to work in Medway across the north Kent marshes so there is plenty of wild food to be found as well.

I hope I can contribute to the site as well as asking lots of dozy questions. I'm pretty good with wildlife stuff so I might be able to help out with any questions about that. Looking forward to getting to know you all. Cheers!

Hi there and welcome to our group.
I too come from Kent, born and bred on the Kent/Sussex borderlands deep in the Weald.
Until 23 years ago that is, when we up sticks and moved to the extreme south west of Ireland.

Hi yellowhammer, welcome to Ish.

Lots for you to see, lots for you to contribute. Looking forward to it.

P.S. There's no such thing as a dozy question but if you're really shy about it check out the search box first - I'll bet someone's already asked it.
