Hi all
I'm a 31 yr old who was raised in the welsh country from the age of 11 and now lives on a hill between Manchester and the High Peak. I'm rediscovering my natural ways and eccentricity and have stumbled upon your forum whilst looking for ways to store Chestnuts. (Got some real funny looks collection them from an old cemetery, but it has the best crop)
I hope we will have many happy years helping each other with foraging, storing, and traditional ways, not to mention some good untainted food

I lived in Tameside for 20+ years. There’s a lot of good foraging out towards Derbyshire.
