Ireland Calling.

Post: # 61723Post Cligereen »

Hi all,

Thought I'd better make an honest man of myself and join in instead of just prowling through the pages.

I moved to Ireland 20 years ago (from London) We are in Tullamore which is right in the middle of the country. 4 years ago we bought an old coach house that needed renovation and we've just completed that (whew!)... now for the garden. Its three quarters of an acre, with about a quarter of an acre in orchard (apples, plums, pears, damsons and sloes and elderberries in the hedges). I've got down to some small scale planting of veg and intend to go bigger scale next year so I'm preparing both the ground and myself for this!

I've started a batch of Stonehead's strong nettle brew to break myself in gently

Cheers.

Clig.

I thought from where you are, you would be out in the early morning collecting the moisture for a tipple.
