I used to make a yeast ginger beer with sugar and ginger powder. I even managed to keep my starter Ã¢â‚¬Å“ ginger sludge Ã¢â‚¬Å“ alive for near a year until I up and put salt in my mixture, thinking I was feeding it sugar. After that I didnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t start another wild Ã¢â‚¬Å“ginger beer plantÃ¢â‚¬Â
