Damson Jam

Post: # 276143Post Pumkinpie »

The damson tree is dripping ripe damsons moment , I am going to have a bash at damson jam.
Watch this space. If it good enough I might enter it in the pumpkin show. I would like to make it a little different so I might have a rummage it the cupboards to find some thing to give it a bit of a lift as normally I find damson jam bland.

Any suggestions for something to give the damson jam a lift would be appreciated.

That's a good idea, there are plenty of elderberry trees at the end of my garden.

That sounds lovely.
I think I might have all the ingredients in the house.
