has anyone ever made this themselves?

i have been given a "Juicer" and i'd like to start off by making beetroot juice. but does it need to be mixed with other fruit? can it be made from the raw beet? or do they have to be cooked first?

Beetroot juiced on its own has a very strong flavour and its better if diluted by mixing with celery, cucumber or carrots or all four together. Try 1 large beetroot, 1 large carrot, 2 stalks of celery and 1/2 a cucumber.
