Competiton - any ideas??
It is about time we held a competition again I think. Of course one of the prizes would be a signed copy of some big book or other; I would also ask around for other prizes. But any ideas of what sort of competition would be good?

Getting someone famous/in the public eye to pose for a photo with a copy of the selfsufficientish bible in their hands.

How about a recipe using a certain no of ingredients (say carrot, egg and potato for example) you can add 3 other or 2 and a substition and the resulting recipes are submitted so we can try them and voted on. Could be the beginings of another book........
by having a core of the same ingredients we are all starting from the same point, doesn't matter where you live.
'Herbs' and 'spices' should count as a single choice.....so coriander, cumin and turmeric in one recipe would be one choice.
Just an idea
Kind thoughts

How about some designs for the RHS 10x10 foot/3x3m style (mostly food)garden plots--either a 2 or 3/4 season plan depending on the area you are designing for. They have some with UK, mediterranean, and asian vegetable plans, but what about more of those or regional UK, French, Hungarian, Indonesian, Peruvian, Indian, Latino, African, or other themed gardens?
Re: Competiton - any ideas??
I meant to include the links to the RHS 10x10 foot/3x3m plans. As creative as people are here, I'd love to see what people would come up with for regular or themed garden plans
Most are various British designs and one is Mediterranean and one has Asian vegetables.
