Free Loader!

Post: # 113185Post Super.Niki »

Hello all!! I just got it today and is sitting charging from Pooter!

The Freeloader solar charger... orgininally I decided it would be great for festivals and camping as it charges mobile phones (as well as almost every other portable device!!).

Has anyone else got one or tried something similar?

here's what I got (the pink one, naturally!) http://www.ethicalsuperstore.com/produc ... r-charger/

i have a freeloader. its pretty good although takes a while to charge up fully from the sun. ours broke though so doesnt work so well - but it was only because we drove off with it on the roof of our van so nothing wrong with the product at all!

We've got one and it takes forever to charge - do you think the lack of sunshine is the problem :sunny:

We've got one and whilst its good for recharging things like Ipods, it doesn't add much charge to a mobile phone even when the Freeloader is fully charged :( I also think its a bit of a design flaw that it doesn't tell you when its fully charged from the sun, like it does when USB charged!
