Anybody got an effective woodlice deterrent?

Want to share some knowledge of eco products. Or have you heard about any new eco projects that you want to share with the world?

Anybody got an effective woodlice deterrent?

Post: # 108064Post duncang »

Good evening,

We have just moved into our flat and every night our patio walls that are newly painted in a light cream colour are crawling with woodlice that come out of the woodwork (literally!)

Has anybody got any homemade remedies/ideas to eradicate them or deter them?

Otherwise, any good products out there?

Thanks
Duncan

I don't suppose knowing that their natural preditors are toads and shrews helps

OMG :pale: http://everything2.com/e2node/woodlouse includes a recipe for woodlice fritters! :pukeleft:

What about sprinkling some diatomaceous earth along the edge of the patio, where the wall meets the floor?
