when and how to prune young loganberry?

can someone please tell me how and when to prune my loganberry.
its a young plant, planted this ermmm august, I think.

Leave well alone for now.
Next year you might get some flowers and then fruit on the canes that are there now. When these have finished fruiting they need cutting off at ground level (even if they didn't fruit).
Before that though you will see new canes emerge and these are the ones that will produce fruit in 2013, so take good care of those and tie them to your support to stop them getting damaged by winds.
Then follow the same procedure every year.

The only real reason for pruning is to stop the plant turning into a thicket, the fruiting canes will die anyway whether you cut them back or not, so don't worry too much about it.
